Here's the reply I got from Raceconcepts. Too bad nobody on here will buy these rotors to verify they are zinc plated or see if the auction changes to confirm he's a bull****ter.

From: Ben Truong <sales@raceconcepts.net>

this auction is for zinc plated

Even the set shipping cost isn't believable. $300 from Canada? Maybe if it's for down the street.

Can you just summarize it? He lists alot of info on the engine and I really don't want to have to read through the whole thing.
...I should sleep

$300 for UPS 3 Day Select no less

I wonder if an EG33 exceeds the weight limit for standard UPS shipping

Did you already leave feedback for the guy prior to finding out they weren't coated?

Definitely exceeds ups weight limit of 150 lbs per piece. Doesn't somebody want the free engine I'm giving away?

Haha, his response to the negative feedback:

I didn't sell him the engine because his bid was so low.

Yes, I definitely do, but I can't just zip off to Montreal to go get it. Plus, I don't know where I'd store it.

Somewhere in this engine swaping is there a good extra mount available??

I really need a good one to get down to dragon I was going to upgrade to Group N STI, but I'm on a waiting list

IF you send me two (even if one is bad) and plan on upgrading at some point, I'll weld the mounts to accept the STI guts and send em back for free. I'll pay all the shipping both ways, I just need to borrow some

I should be getting my STIs end of june, and I'll test fit them with the real deal before I send em to you. Thanks.

Thumbs down hobatsparts, the NEW Biostar

Yep, unbelieveably, they are back on air (eBay). Our friends from Vineland, NJ are back to selling transmissions, engines and of course, radiators on eBay. New ID = hobatsparts
Disturbing that eBay can't catch on......

How did you find out for sure it's him? If it is him for sure, I'm gonna take care of him. He never ripped me off, I just love terrorizing scumbags.

Biostar

They posted a fresh set of auctions that looked too good. Say the location and I emailed them....got an email from Alina with the usual BS. I also asked for a picture...got the same one via email that they posted for the last auction that I "won" and never got.
