who wants to feel better about their car?

i had a jerk try to make me feel inferior about my car the other day

then in comparing he progressivly started feeling stupid

why?

because he just realised that his 2008 BMW 328xi is virtually the same on paper as a 10-15 year old Subaru (except we have more torque )

http://www.vehix.com/research/compar...s=75&zip=03255

(compare it to the 97 SVX in the "side by side" then look at specifications/advantages)

enjoy the monthly payments jackass

Yeah WTF, lots of the stuff the LSi has is listed as "Not Available." Meh. EDIT: Oh wait, it's because I didn't select LSi. Oops. lol EDIT EDIT: Meh there's still stuff missing!!!

Oh well, still pretty funny. Take that! Subaru was way too ahead of its time with its cars, hahaha.

Value

What's really funny is that he lost more in depreciation in the first year (or first few months) of ownership that most of us have probably paid for our cars.
It's nice knowing that some of us can replace our entire cars for what they have invested in wheels and tires.

Interesting that the front rotors are identical diameter & thickness. Wonder if they fit.

Also says the SVX is a 5 passenger & the Beamer is 4

and theres plenty of money left over to do some "modernization mods" such as HIDs, bushings and other suspension mods to compete on the same scale.

It was me driving, my friend Rich up front, my friends Chris and Andy in back, and my little brother in the middle. My bro wasn't very happy about that.
