DragTimes.com Featured Car
Congrats to Chiketkd his supporters for getting 2nd most votes we've had so far. I'm sure the car will be up there next month. After I saw the voting jump into the 3,000's for both the Mavrick and the SVX I started looking through the detailed logs to see what was going on as most featured cars don't get more than 1,300 votes or so.... There was definitely some interesting voting methods being used on BOTH sides as well as some mild "hacking type" attempts at obtaining passwords for records.
I think the battle of the car makes and boards is a good thing, although this one got a little crazy and personal. However, it is kind of boring, and I do get complaints if boards/groups keep the same car type on the front page month after month.... At one point, the Mercury Marauder group had the 90% of the top 30 cars all being Marauder's, and we had to cut some to keep the field and cars somewhat diversified. Anyways... I thought I would drop in and say thank you for contributing to the site! BTW, my cars have hardly any votes.... Brooks DragTimes.com

Welcome to the site. Hopefully, my SVX will be featured in December, but if not life will go on! Your site is terrific and all of my drag racing buddies frequent it often.

Nice cars Brooks. I've seen all of those dragtimes when I browse your site in the evenings. I love the grey C32AMG and those new M45s are just amazing.

thanks..... I thought the M45 would be quicker....
it was VERY hot out the day I ran it, will try it again once more when it cools off down here.... magazines are getting low 14's @ 100.... I think one actually got a high 13....either way, coming from the C32 to the M45 is a big slowdown.... I made a few offers of 2004 E55's, but they didn't pan out.... I drove the C55, but the NA V8 had limited potential if I wanted to go faster without spending big $$... so I went for more gadgets over speed this time.... I'll be first in line when they do a C63 AMG with 450HP.... BTW, check out this E55... running 10's! I would rather see this car feature than any of mine... http://www.dragtimes.com/e55video.html .
