Dave,
Is the racer back in AWD mode? I thought it was still running in FWD mode?

In all fairness, there should be another class for stripped down racers...

I wonder how fast my car would go if it weighed 2,800lbs!

Yeah Bill, the dif was in when you drove it. She's pulling like a bat out of hell out of turns now. The launches are something of beauty to see. 2.5k rpm starts with narry a chirp.

I can churp it big time coming out of a turn, on straight pavement though no. I was sitting 4th fastest overall time when I left on Sunday. Expect to be in the top 10 once results get posted. Not bad considering the course was tight as can be in spots and our tires are in the wiggly stage with the nubs just getting taken off on my first run.

Re: Fastest SVX ever for 1/4 mile? Anyone know?

BUMP. Any other list like this? I keep seeing EG33's with huge power on the internet, but they're never in an SVX. :-(

Re: Fastest SVX ever for 1/4 mile? Anyone know?

I do and working on the 3.7 motor to go in it along with a lot of suspension work. going to run the 3.7 in another car till it gets broke in then put it in the shadow with the supercharger

Re: Fastest SVX ever for 1/4 mile? Anyone know?

I bought the Supercharger kit that JAYSVX had in CA and put it onto Icingdeath's rebuilt engine. I installed a Hydra and its in the shop now getting a new exhaust and tuned. When its done, i'll let you know how it turns out.

The shop estimates it can squeeze out about 350-400HP from it with 12psi of boost. We're also looking at fabricating a new intake manifold to allow more air in. Rather than going up (due to the hood being in the way) they think they can spread the manifold out sideways to make more room for flow. We'll get to that after we get it running the way it is. If they can though, that will open the door for a lot more power. We'll see.
