will O2 sensor help rough idle?

Fellers,

Our 92 SVX has a rough idle and the dealer pulled an O2 sensor code. I bought 2 new universal sensors to replace what looks like the original ones. Will new sensors help a rough idle? Any advice on getting the old ones loose easily?

thanks

Tdog

Bad O2 sensor could deffinitly cause rough idle, as far as getting them out, disconnect them from the harness and use a torch to heat up the bung to help get them loose.

Peace
