Exclamation 2003 Svx

Hey Everyone, I was just checkin out some stuff and I came across this... Don't know if anyone else has found it or not, but here you are, I think the SVX is on page 2 of the year 2003. As the little disclaimer says at the top of the page, they are only PREDICTIONS. But man, it would be nice. If anyone has any more info, I'm sure we would all appreciate it. Thanks.

Allen

cool

I can't believe!! Is that true? So no second SVX in the future?

No picture yet! If yes, it could be a small car. Same platform as WRX?

Re$ale?

Hi,

That link was posted a while back but thanks anyway.

This makes me wonder, what do you guys think it would do for our SVX's resale value if Subaru come out with a 2003 SVX?

Cheers,
Pete

I wonder if they will have a surprise (good or bad) for us at Lafayette? Don

I'm willing to to put up $50- to bet against seeing SOA introduce any model called SVX before the 2006 model year. Any takers ?

Last time I personally talked to the SOA rep and the head designer/production of Impreza (about 6 months ago), he said that they are not making any 2 door coupes in the near future since the market is satuated by other companies. It seems like he meant it too. So I doubt they are comming up with any 2 doors larger than the Impreza anytime soon. Every year, we see someone say there will be 200x model SVX out. So far, I have seen none. Until I see one on the road I refuse to believe in this.

Donner and Blitzen...

Maybe we can AT LEAST encourage them to give us the Blitzen.....it would probably be as close as we would ever get to something we could live with. They brought us the WRX and the STi is on it's way; why not the Blitzen? Don

I can live with the B4.

That's a nice ride.

I believe Wawazat has some pics of a B4 in his personal locker. It is interesting that the wheels on it are close to the design that I would like to put on my SVX... Don

Don,

The B-4 kind of reminds me of the overall shape of a BMW. But the front and rear ends have been "Subaruized".

As far as I kind find out, Subaru won't be producing any 2 door coupes or sedans for the near future. That means about 2-3 years. It's still up in the air after that. This should be fairly accurate info.

You heard it here first...

The B4 is the next SVX. The SVX name will appear on the right rear deck lid about where SUS is on the Legacy. The side glass will have a permanent black line embedded in the glass to simulate our split windows. Details at Lafayette... Don

200x SVX

Nope...don't wanna see it.

I sort of like the idea of only our period of SVX in existence. Nothing worse than explaining to people "No, I have one of original SVXs, not a new one."

I think the limited number and "quickyness" of our cars adds to the appeal of it. I once had a '87 Galant. This was one the most feature packed cars I'd ever driven. Then they redesigned it and shrunk it and washed out the styling of it. "No I had an original Galant, not a new one."

No new SVX's. I would however welcome the next Subaru concept car that goes into production.
