H-6 Uncorked

Ever heard an H-6 completely uncorked? This is with a straight pipe back- no resonator, no cats, and no muffler.

That was awesome. I wonder what a short set of headers and sidepipes would sound like.

I drove mine around the block exactly as you have yours now once when I was in a transitional phase. It was evil. Extremely loud. I loved it.

I did that with an XT6.
It was extremely loud, and awesome.

Only difference is we took off everything. Not one inch of pipe, and no maf tube.

QuickTime worked fine. Now I just want to pitch the muffler off of my SVX and cruise!

Then it must stroke me the right way! I LOVE the way that sucker burbles off idle!!! WOW! That is the kind of sound I always wanted to get at low RPM (but not that loud at the higher RPMs...lol), kind of what you hear on a healthy Mustang or Vette. I never thought that would be possible but here is proof that it can. I think with the right set of performance cans before it exits the pipes it can be possible to get a nice compromise.

I don't like the sound either...plus it's waaayyy too loud in person.

It's something you can tolerate for maybe 30 seconds.
