Angry Stubbern SVX sellers make me mad

I have been eyeing this 92 SVX for sale for 3 weeks now. i must have celled the number at least 5 times left 3 messages. i have also gone up to the house and knocked about 8 times and nobody ever picks up the phone or comes to the door. at first i thought ok mabye there on vacation or somthing but i still called and stuff to make sure.

So today i was in the area again so i stop by and knock on the door still noone came to the door i looked at the car again just checking everything out again. so now i really wanna see whats the car like on the inside, so i open the door (YES IT WAS UNLOCKED) take a look inside everything seems to be in nice condition. leather is nice no scraches on the inside CD player was there and stuff. also the title was in the arm rest and the car was unlocks not very smart.

i saw the people next door so i went over and asked them if they knew the people they said that they have met them once in the 7 years they have lived there and they they work in maine.

anyone have any other ideas that i can reach these people?

claim the car has been sitting there for over a month, say it's a horrid sight and that you wish to claim the title to move it, so people wont be offended by it

works here in MI, but it kinda has to be on your property or public property. So maybe just park it on your lawn

I wish I'd thought of that one.

Really, I'd recommend leaving a note on the car or in the mailbox. You don't necessarily have to write how frustrating it is to get ahold of them, just that you're interested in the car and how to reach you.

If you can't reach them, and they don't call you back, then there's nothing else you can do. You can't force them to talk to you about the car that they're apparently not that interested in selling.

I had a similar experience when purchasing mine. I'd call the guy about 6 times a day and leave a ton of messages to no response. Finally, as I was calling to leave a message on his machine stating I had the money to pay him, he answered before I was able to finish. The point is you should try emphasizing your seriousness by leaving a message telling them you’re ready to buy should the car check out OK. Believe it or not, it's not uncommon for a lot of people to jerk you around when you’re trying to sell a vehicle. This could explain his stubberness.

Just a thought.

Uhm....descreetly strip all the parts, and use them on your SVX, or sell them to us? I could go for some cheap parts right now.

Edit: ...erm...seems to me that upon further review, you dont have an SVX! Ok, then strip the parts, and sell them to us, so you can afford a more pristine specimin....

If these people dont really care about selling it, how much could they have cared about the maintenance?
