Smile This thing is comfortable !

Just bought my first svx: 92 teal and after having driven
an infinity g20 and an acura integra before that - I was amazed at
how comfortable the seats were. The overall ride is much more plush than I would have expected. Couldn't be happier !

Welcome to the site! A wealth of info, great people, and some of these guys have a knowledge level of these cars, you would think they designed them in the first place.

Happy Turkey day!!

Hehe, I didnt think much of the seats, but they get no more uncomfortabler (is that a word?) as you sit in them. 5 hours of driving in em and your no less comfortable than you started. did you happen to find the Lumbar support lever yet? Ahhh, youll find all the fancy doodads that make the SVX an SVX and not a honda. Congradulations and stuff.

One of the great things about the SVX is how you'll always find out something new about it (as I'm sure you're learning).

Things like the tilt steering, winter wiper mode, headrests, intermittant wipers

(hope I'm not spoiling too much for you)

I took my car on a 10 hour round trip to Charlotte, NC and back with just a 1 hour stop to pick up some wheels, eat a quick lunch and get gas at the mid point. Very enjoyable drive and my body had no major aches or pains the following day. This car was made for touring!

Don't forget the 'secret' compartment under the front passenger seat!

If you didn't get an owner's manual with your car, www.subaruparts.com sells it for $3.81 plus shipping.

Enjoy your car!

I am still dorking around with these cars and I have had two SVX's in two years. I love them and can't see myself driving anything else. Welcome and drive on!!!

Thanks again for all the great comments.
I would like to try and touch up a few of the scratches on
the wheels themselves - not the hubs. I believe they are the charcoal
color for the '92 . I did search but I couldn't find a recomondation
for paint. Anyone know ?

Welcome abroad....yup the "front" seats are comfortable... not the rear.

The ride is good as well on this thing.

I happened to drive a 04 accord V6 yesterday. 240hp. It's not bad...alot of pull. In my opinions, my svx rides and shifts smoother....both cars' drivers seats are comfort/good...can't really compare for the long drive since I only drove that around town abt 1hr..
