No, not to much Nawwws, just to much nawwwws to soon. I'm a nawwws newbie You should not engage your NOS untill around 2,500-3,000RPMs' I kicked mine on the launch. Doh!

Anyway, I'm pretty sure my problem is directly related to my EGR not being hooked up. I'm not sure why yet but it will only do it after a long decel using the tranny to slow the car. (As we all know that is when the EGR does most of it's work) If I never use the tranny to slow the car, I never have the problem.

I'm gonna see if I can peice a tube together in time the meet Sat. and keep looking for a good tube for later on.

I'll let you know.

Jesse, which EGR tube do you need?
I've run without the bottom one, to the header, from time to time with no side effects.
I just had the header and the manifold plugged.
Do you need the top tube?

Well I fixed the EGR stuff I had (thanks anyway Tom ) and I now have no problems. I'm not sure how you got away with it Tom but it seemed to affect my car in a bad way. I had thought others had run with no EGR and had no "noticble" problems, and the only reason I can think of is that my car is an early 92, so it has no EGR temp sensor in the manifold. I wonder if the ones with the temp sensor can sense when it's not working and adjust accordingly?

Anyway it's back together and running as it should

I will try to get some destructive pics of the old motor next week.

glad to hear you fixed your EGR pipe. I did not see this thread in time but If you want a new pipe let me know, I got an extra hanging around. I also have a butt-load of engine sensors too if u need them. Just shoot me a PM. You are doing so much for me how could I not help a fellow SVXer in need?

Tom

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy about having it running again too. Seems I only got to drive it for a week before I blew it up at Reading

Thanks for the offer Tom, if you got a good tube could you hold it for me? I'll pick it up at the drag meet. The one I got works fine but it's a little ugly, (not that anyones gonna see it)
