Im in the midst of buying several parts cars, real
parts cars, cars that have non repairable damage.
So I hope to have alot of good used parts on hand.
Hope to put a few back on the road that almost
got parted out instead of fixed.

Business in town here has been so good, and because
of the weather, we usually stay busy 12 months out of the
yr, not all that bad

But I do plan, someday to possibly move out there
again one day.
Until then, we always have mail order

Now if you could only figure out a way of freeze drying the parts so they wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to ship...

so longassname...
when are you going to make a real shift kit?
a biggy back TCU? one that raises shift points and pressure and stuff
something adjustable more than just a modified resistor

We have no plans to make any sort of shift kit or transmission computer modifications.

chip went in well

thanks Mike.
Have to take it on a test drive later today, but its like 110
out today, so not sure how much its going to help.
Im sure Ill like it
My only suggestion in the instructions, people may ask what
size hole to drill for the grommet, I believe I used a 3/16
bit that worked perfect for the supplied grommet.

I havent hooked my 87 octane switch yet, but will
later this week.
My car had the ROM in place btw, think the hardest part
was re installing the ECU in its puzzle mess of brackets and tight space

I've gotten particularly good at that. I always do it by hand and leave the nuts finger tight. Pulling the ecu, swapping the memory adaptor, and reinstalling the ecu takes me 5 minutes now. Took me like half an hour to get it out the first time.

It's easier if you already have to TCU

I couldnt clear my memory

on my ECU, so the being able to notice the diff
right away just doesnt happen, but Im happy to report
the more I drive the car, the faster it learns the new
program and the better it runs
So far its great, and Im sure after a few hundred more miles
it will be totally upgraded
thanks again Mike

Cant wait to do the Stage II kit in the next week or 2....
we just may have to post a mpeg of the results

okay, anyway

so the Soarer dusted the turbo and did something
to the motor in the process, and is currently in the
process of getting a 2JZ motor (built !!)

Mike, started installing my NOS kit today, we too made
a bracket for the switch, Ill take a pic tomorrow and post
how we did ours. Came out pretty nice
anywho

I havent removed my pre cats yet (sorta was hoping I
could get by w/o doing so because I really dont want my
car any louder
Ill probably install some small 8" resonators in their place
to keep the sound level down.

I have the main cat replaced with a Carrsound unit
and the rest of our exhaust kit installed,
and the MSD stacker to help out with the hole set up too

I ordered a few sets of the colder plugs ( they would only let me order them in quainties of 4, pretty gay)
so I ordered 2 sets at least. One set for my car and set for stock.
Quantity of 12 total to make them happy

Funny thing, with just the Stage I chip being used
I did a small run from the lite against my friends 94
Svx, and it was amazing how much better my car pulled
over hers !! And before the chip installed it was so
much of a closer race ...

If anyone has $200 to spend on their car, and you already
got the basics done like plugs, fuel filter, and hi flow air filter
Buy at least the Stage I chip, youll never regret it.
