Question TPS bad?

Okay,

I found out what is wrong with my trans, it's hunting during the 2/3 shift. Somebody told me that is caused by a bad TPS sensor. I ordered a new sensor and now Im wondering if the other problems with my car are TPS related? When you are leaving from a stop light under light throttle, say 20~25% the car hesitates, if you step a little more to say 40% it goes. The problem is getting worse everyday. The TPS is going to be here on Friday and Im going to put it in on Saturday, does anybody have any documentation on how to install the new TPS, I know that you need to set it.

Thanks

Chris

Significant Technical Input
Looking at the sensor as it is mounted on the car the pins are numbered 3,2,1 , left to right.

Check resistance between throttle sensor terminals #2 and #3.
Readings should be: 10 - 12 K ohms - throttle fully closed 3 - 5 K ohms - throttle fully open
If readings are not as specified, loosen throttle sensor mounting screws and rotate sensor until reading is achieved.
