Post Ultimatums.

As if things couldn't get any shyte-e-er.

My roommate is turning into a total assclown.
He was already a loserdoofusbonehead to begin with, but I draw the line of tolerance at starting fights with my best friend in my home.

It's not a good day in Harlem when I have to bust the Dragon Buster off the wall to assume authority between two compadres while still half asleep at 2am.

My good old buddy Ric, was sposed to move in, help lower our bills, especially since @#$%wad can't keep a job.
Not happenin if they can't get along.

Well, Ric has a buddy he brought with him, who needs a place, and seems like a decent fellow. Not that it matters, as I get along with anyone and everyone no matter how deep their complacency is in their own fantasy world.

Here's my ultimatum. Keep room and boarding this high-school drop out for his own survival (lord knows he can't survive by himself, he's tried that), or pick an old friend and a new one, both of whom are fully capable of supporting themselves.

The latter choice seems obvious and logical, but it is not the lesser of two evils in the sense of this feeling I have, this duty to be faithful and trustworthy to all my friends, nomatter the case short of commiting felonies (which we came close too, domestic assault, class C felony AK).

I'm stuck in a rut, and it happens to be on the decline between a rock and a crappy place.

This is all I can think of today, and this is how I spend tonight's lunch hour.
Brooding and in thought.

Maybe the loserdoofusbonehead needs some motivation to get his life together? Or at least threats of eviction to stop acting like an assclown?

Go with the guys who will help out, if people always help out slackers they will always be slackers, if they must hold their own ball then they will either loose it all or start pulling. It's not that difficult to keep a job, i've kept plenty, infact, I usually have 3 if I only have 2 then I hang arround here too much, I'm about to have 3 and full time school I'm phucked!!@!

I agree with Napa & Aly. Loserdoofusbonehead's gotta shape up or get the fut ouck. Having roomies can be such a pain in the glutes, even if you share a place with your buddies. So, you gotta be selective, and sadly in this case I think you need to just let go of this feeling of obligation. It is not your responsibility to take care of LDB. I'm assuming he is an adult, and that he has custody of himself (meaning that he is of sound body and mind and that you are not his court-ordered guardian). Clearly, his issues transcend mere loser / slacker tendencies - he is also prone to violence and may have anger issues. If this situation were to have occurred between LDB and a member of the opposite sex, his ass would be bouncing off the curb, am I right? So, lay it out for him - you're his friend (again, I'm assuming), and you want to do right by him but on the same token he's gotta do right by you. If you want to keep him as a roomie, let him know what he has to do to keep that privilege. If you don't see any end to his stint as an assclown, tell him flat out that you cannot continue to board him and that he has 30 days to find a new place (there could be legal repercussions if you kick him out without 30 days, especially if he's on the lease).

Good luck, I do not envy your predicament

I have full authority to kick out and invite whomever I see fit whenever I want, according to the contracts I so gladly accepted to sign.
He is merely a willing resident, with no real power, as he would blindly abuse it.

Anyways, here is an interesting IM convo we have going.
Not really a convo. He did his speal and I replied with my thoughts on the issue when I sat down here this morning. (2am. Just got back from hangin with the buds, Jayric, Jayson, and JB.
JB was really impressed with the SVX by the way )

Some naughty 4-letter words. Nothing any 13 year old couldn't handle.
Be warned, common sense ensues quickly after the bullcrap.

Here's the resulting conversation. I find it meaningful and enlightening.

http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...u_S./20102.rtf

Here's the very last bit IMed before submitting this, and on this note I shall leave the rest to imagination.

I hate people says:
arguing and fighting takes a lot of energy
My truth is as I see it. says:
it makes one stronger emotionally
My truth is as I see it. says:
but sometimes too strong
My truth is as I see it. says:
and renders ones thoughts null of common sense and logic
My truth is as I see it. says:
i recall the phrase, "take everyting, in moderation."
I hate people says:
i can't stay focused when it comes to "conflict"
I hate people says:
i lose control, or my side of the story never comes out
I hate people says:
heh if there were mavericks** in this reality, i'd prolly be very suceptible to becoming one
My truth is as I see it. says:
would you have me liberate you?
I hate people says:
more than likely
My truth is as I see it. says:
by liberate i mean render null of internal conflict
I hate people says:
heh
My truth is as I see it. says:
as X or Zero*** would render conflict
My truth is as I see it. says:
even on each other
I hate people says:
possibly
I hate people says:
if it really came to that
My truth is as I see it. says:
i wonder if it will...

**ed. note, Mavericks are reploids (thinking robots) that have been infected with a virus making them irrational a destructful.
***X and Zero hunt and destroy Mavericks, and wish one to destroy the other if one were to become Maverick.

Wow, those conversations are elaborately odd, but the topic isn't.

Seems like annoyingroommate doesn't want anyone to tell him what to do and isn't paying for his share of stuff. And you feel like you cant just flat out tell him to get lost since he's your friend?

So how many roomates can you have? Is there enough space for you, annoyingroommate, payingroommate1 and payingroommate2? And do payingroommate1 and 2 come as a set?

It probably doesnt matter, but what's with the rice cooker?

Is that a rhetorical question?

I can have one roommate, two if I'm really good. The landlord was a little hesitant when we discussed it.

And it does seem payingroommate1 and 2 are a set, as they seem to be entering the army soon, which raises another question, if I let them in, are they going to serve their country and leave me to find another roomy?
It just keeps getting more difficult.

The rice cooker.
Jayric is Filipino. He depends on rice, and something like a rice cooker is cherished by filis (aka pinoy).
Things to add up:
His English is inadequate, and he compensates with vulgar language. "Discussing" dumbguy's use of the cooker sets of dumbguys anger box. The rice cooker is nothing more than a bridge from aggressor to aggressor. It's just a reason for one guy to get ticked at the other.

So I was pulling the electric lawnmower down for some guy, and I'm holding the wheels, ofcourse they turn.
One turns in such a way with how I'm holding it, the weight of the mower forces part of the height adjusting lever into my thumb.
Didn't hurt much at fist, and I didn't think much of it, until about 10 seconds later when it began bleeding profusely.

The amount of time I was running (heartrate up) looking for cold water was around 10 minutes, and the tissue was completely soaked in blood. Luckily a nurse girly tended to my wound, as I rarely get injured and am at a loss of what to do when things happen.

I lost approximately 3 to 4 ounces of blood through my thumb.
Crazy.
edit: By the time the bleeding slowed, I was feeling ill and lightheaded. I drank some water.

It's mostly closed now. Happened morning of the 14th. Pic taken about an hour ago.

Lesson: don't hold things by the wheels, unless you are wearing some decent gloves. =D
