I like the way the SVX sounds stock, but my friend has the cold air intake onhis and it sounds really good too. He also has different exhaust tips (not sure abotu the whole system) but either way it has a very sexy rumble to it!

I was looking at replacing stock mufflers with aeroexhuast and will probably end up using their resonators too(I am pretty sure that my baffle is broke in my stock resonators[bad rattle]). I remember seeing a thread awhile back about turning the svx exhaust into a true twin exhaust system, is that possible?

Where are all the stebro guys at?
I have the stock pre-cats, stebro euro resonator, and a straight pipe which leads into the stebro muffler. It sounds great. On cold start-ups, there is this deep rumble. Which fades into a soft rumble when warmed up. During acceleration, there is a slight raspyness, but it dosent bother me much. I want to put in a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler about the same size as the center resonator that came with the stebro(which I removed) just to see what it sounds like. Maybe it'll deepin it alittle more. P:S:If theres anyone from the Milwaukee area who is thinking of installing a new exhaust on their svx, and wants to hear what mine sounds like, stop by my restaurant: Goldstar Family Restaurant, 5810 West Oklahoma Ave.

Has anyone kept the stock precats, main cat, but removed the center resonator with straight pipe, and also changed out the muffler?
I would like to know what a Magnaflow, Flowmaster, or Stebro would sound like or which one to possibly get. |

Hiya,
Has anyone heard a Flatt Racing system & what it sounds like? I'm thinking of getting a system put in the back of one of the cars I'm shipping over from Japan at the end of the month & the induction kit. It seems like allot of money if it sounds like VW with a sore throat Darren

Full stebro on my '95 That thing sounds great, My black '92 has a stock system but comes to a Y with two resonators sticking out the back instead of the main SVX muffler, and my pearly '92 has a stock system. The '95 is deffinetly the best, according to my mom the black '92 sounds like her old Charger and the pearly just sounds....pearly.

Two of those right out the back, I didnt like it at first but it has sort of grown on me, and when I can frighten a 5.0 Mustang but not hear the exhaust while cruising is nice. IMHO the Stebro is deffinetly the best sounding one I've heard so far. Dustin

Sound quality is bad, but it gives you a general idea of how it sounds. Dustin
