Full coverage insurance
How many have full coverage insurance on their SVX? Is it worth having on a 13 year old car? I have it, but I'm thinking of droping it. Allstate charges me around 1100 a year, is this good?

I have full coverage on my 96LSi here outside of Baltimore
200,000/400,000/200,000 with 250.00 collision and 100.00 comprehensive. State Farm charges me $650/year with multi-line discount for other vehicles insured and homeowners insurance.

I have full coverage on mine. Shotsky (a member on the Yahoo site) didn't and he realized after hitting a SUV, that he should have. Personally, I think it is a good idea.

I dont and i pay 1300 dollars a year for it. I guess that's the joy of being 19 with a brother who's been in 3 big accidents and gotten a bazillion tickets my insurance knows i'm a danger to them (but i love the car too much to drive like him! So they're making a killing on me!)

I had full coverage for the first two years.
Good thing when my rear windsheild was crashed and I got rear ended. Both events were fully covered. After the rebuild I downgraded to liability. Lo and behold my front windsheild gets attacked and it's an out of pocket expense. In this particular instance the difference from my annual coverage and the windsheild reinstall expenses costed me about $400. In my opinion unless you anticipate collecting at least $1500 in coverable damage per year full coverage isn't necessary. Liability costs me about $50 a month with my age and record.

I keep full coverage on everything.
Even my 222k svx. With the amount of unregistered, uninsured motorists around here I want to be covered no matter what.
