Alright guys... rough Itinerary here... still need Chad to confirm but here is what I have so far. Also, if anyone has done something like this and think there are certain landmarks I should see while traveling please inform me of their locations!! Thanks!

Well, Tom, since I just did what you're about to do; be sure to drop in on the Pioneer Auto Museum in Murdo, SD. If you're taking I-90 to Earl's state, it's in the middle of nowhere, meaning you'll be lookin' for a cheap shower. I got a room with genuine indoor plumbing for $35.00. Try to catch Rushmore, AND especially the Crazy Horse Memorial close by. Unforgettable.

Have fun. It's a BIG country!!!

Ron.

Yes.... I forgot to mention the favored Olympic aquatic sport of cultured Washingtonians - the Pond Scum.

I removed the dates from my initial post, as I am totally unsure of where I will be when anymore... I am hoping to get back east by mid-end of Nov.

Tom, I hope you'll be back east before the new year of 09.

It looks real fun and I hope I will have chance to do trips like these it needs plenty of times and money. Have fun for your trips and update, update...we're watching here.

you are going to shelfy's place twice to swap out his 97 to be a 6mt on the second time? hopefully they might be something coming up in tx and al and fl so your trips will be more complete.

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Tom, there's some more scenic routes to take once you get into Washington state on the eastern side, the North Cascades Hwy (Highway 20) takes you through an incredible mountain pass and right to Earl's back door if you wanted to hit his place before coming down to mine.

Not sure how much extra time and mileage it would be tacking on to things though, I'm having trouble getting the map to let me change the route without adding it on as an extra loop that it wouldn't actually be.
