Dr. SUS in the house!!!

finally got to drive it today MAN this thing is FAST!!!! There still is some loose ends that need to be figured out with some of the wiring but it runs and drives!!!! I need to wire in the proform push fans I have here for it and I need to get the dash working... I am loading videos on Youtube as I type this... Just firing it around our gravel lot at the shop, it needs some plates and insurance before it hits the streets... and then the trails!!!

I recognize that snorkus. Either I wrapped the insulation around it myself, or the sincerest form of flattery has been offered in this intake tube. Either way, glad to have been able to make even a minimal contribution to this fine effort. This is a picture of it in its first incarnation, replaced by the fine Tomyx custom intake snorkus.

Yea Dan, due to the legacy airbox being located just slightly off of where the Stock SVX airbox is, it made a poor fit for the stock snorkus... So we hhad to use yours make it somewhat "adjustable"

That's awesome! If nothing more than to see yet another crazy plan come to fruition.

So all this talk about it being fast... are you saying it's faster than the supercharged SVXes, 4.44's, and all the other goodies you got going on?

What makes this thing so fast? Is something done to the engine? It's N/A right?

It seems like every time the EG33 is dropped into another vehicle it is faster than the SVX, even back to the days of Smallcar installing them in Vanagons. Why?

Looking at the parking lot shots with the cars side by side, it's a crime if the SUS is faster than any of those SVXes. I know sleeper cars are cool, but it's still a crime.

BTW, is this going to remain in full SUS trim and be utilized offroad?

I cannot be sure as I have only been able to drive it in a gravel parking lot

Yes I do plan on keeping in SUS trim and take it to the trails to do some rally driving My wagon has been subject to some offroading but the SUS seems so much more capable I cannot wait to get the reg. on it this weekend and take it to the streets I will take it on the trails this weekend during out meet, hopefully we can take a break from the shop and all head to the trails for some good fun
