How can I get rid of it without anyone noticing?
Don't worry it will fall again......

I thought it would fall again myself, but it has not. It defies gravity now.

Is that right? Defies? Looks funny. You ever notice a word and think how it looks wrong? As if you never noticed it before? Words like "crank" for example.

Maybe she put a lil too much Elmers on it and glued it to the shelf. If you really wanna make it disappear you can break a window and say someone broke in and stole it. You can also say the person felt bad so they left you a 2nd SVX in the driveway

A word that always just doesn't look right to me is . . . COST

Yeah, I never liked the word cost much. Especially when its associated with repairs.

LMAO! People at work are looking at me funny (nothing new there). That is funny as hell, John. I can picture you all too well having this conversation with someone with a straight face. LOL

Well its’ an SVX.
What’s that a Porsche?
No it’s a Ferrari.
Yeah. See the windows?
Yup
That makes it a Ferrari.
Oh.
It’s got Quad turbos too.
No way!
Yes one for each pair pistons,
double acting pistons.
An eight?
Yes but not just any eight.
It’s an inverted flat eight.
Lots of torque.
Really?
Yup 690 foot-pounds
Or is that pound feet?
I don’t know.
Me neither.
What are these stars for?
That’s the emblem from the secret Ferrari plant.
Gee that’s cool.
How fast is it?
Over 300 mph.
You drive that?
Yup everyday to work.
You get tickets?
Just from the cleaners.
No not that kind of ticket.
I meant speeding tickets.
Or those yeah I got one for 27 in a 25.
I got off cause the officer was drunk.
What’s that?
That duct work?
Yeah
Oh that takes the cold air from the AC
And dumps it into the turbo.
Why?
Extra 100 hp when it’s on.
Oh no
Yup
Faster?
Yup
400
Gets me to work in 10 minutes.
Wow cool.
Yup it’s a “special car”
Gets 50 MPG.
No way
Oh yes
It has special regenerative turbine wheels.
Stores energy from the passing slip stream
of the induced boundary layer
between the tire and the road.
That sounds advanced.
Yeah Rob it is.
No BS here to worry about.
It also has a cryogenic brake cooling system.
The car stops from 500 to 0 in 30 seconds.
Oh come on that’s BS.
Oh yeah you caught me.
31 seconds.
Yeah that’s better.
The only problem is the gas.
Gas what do you mean?
The cryogenic gas or liquid is LNG.
What’s LNG?
Liquid Natural Gas
It’s colder than ICE.
So that’s good for brakes?
Yeah But bad when the lines break
And the rotors are hot.
Leaves a huge flame behind the car.

OMG! I lost over 300 posts when they removed the original HiJack thread!

I was at 1750 something and getting ready to get serious about reaching 2000. Woe is me. This might take a while now. :-\

I realise I'm behind the eight-ball here, but did they remove the original at Mitch's request?

From what I read, in another thread, Mitch removed the thread in a drunken stupor. I guess that's better than some things he could've done.

(I lost about 300 posts also. I was less than 500 from 10K)

Unhappy Stupor is such a harsh sounding word..

Yes.. I'd had a bit of the vine that night... I had just received my application to join AARP...

I'm a lonely, 50 year old, single white athiest male living in Salt Lake City Utah.... and for some strange reason some young turk decided to push my buttons!! So... I got pissed and took my ball and went to bed. ..

I'm a little upset at my actions... (and maybe even a little embarrassed) However, what's done is done... and if post counts matter over substance... then we are all in trouble.

We should impose fines for posting (or deleting posts) while intoxicated. Looks how much harm and tragedy it has caused.
