Closed bids tends to bring in more money because you will bid yor highest amount, without knowing what the other bids are. If you want to bid on more than one, it is not as good, because you could win more than one.
 (and not have the money to pay)

I'm currently lookin into canada customs as to whether or not there are any issues about bringing in a U.S. SVX to Canada. Apparently some peopel I know had troubles with some other types of cars. But I'm plannin on comin down. Go to Lethbridge Alberta for university. It'll be a good roadtrip to get duty-free stuff
 and I want a svx! prolly 92 since there are more. Bid low on the first one? if you don't get it go higher on the next?

Customs will need a couple days to clear the car. Don't expect to drive it right home. (You can fax them the paperwork ahead of time though). You will also need to set up some form of DRL to get it registered.

I am sure that it will have to be the specific car - the proper VIN, and everything else. They don't talk generic in the government.

Check the rules regarding faxing. US side of the customs requires original paperwork 72 hours before the car arrives at border. Info at http://www.customs.gov/xp/cgov/expor...r_vehicle.xml.
Mr. Roadster, check http://www.riv.ca for info for import. DRL instructions are on the site somewhere, I had posted pics here a few years back. VK P.S. Anyone care to bid for an SVX from the lot of them in Montana? Quote:

Things have been insane up until this month, and that's when I started to lurk around once again.
How's it going? How well could it be going without an SVX?? Let me tell you, SVX withdrawls are long lasting and ugly. Other than recovering from whiplash (from rubbernecking any SVXes I see on the road) I suppose it's been going well.The wagon we bought was the right decision, as we were down to one parking spot. Especially since there'll be an addition to the family next year... I'm pondering another SVX, if only to throw it into storage until I find a parking spot for it. I miss it dearly, and so does my wife. The rush when the turbo kicks in from the Saab is nice, but it just ain't an SVX, ya know? RWJ, How've you been?
