Good luck Joe! UCF is nice, I work at USF. It seems like there's nothing but customer service jobs in Orlando. I couldn't stand being so nice all the time...
Orlando is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. How do you like it so far? I lived in Jacksonville 2 years and went to UNF so I know why you don't like that place either! Jeff Did I leave any Florida University acronyms out: FIU, FAU, UF, FSU, UWF, FGCU....ummm

I don't know of any jobs, but I'll ask my son who part-times at a couple of places (he's a senior at UCF) if he knows any leads. |

To everyone
To Everyone:
Thank-you for all your concerns. ***I checked out the Sisco Foods job mentioned through e-mail to me, and there is a branch here, but the location is quite far from UCF. ***EveryShadeofBlue- yeah, Jacksonville is o.k.....not a place I'd want to live. Orlando is nice, lots of action, entertainment, and just plain fun stuff to do...maybe it's just because I live on campus. But the one thing that drives me crazy here is the traffic. Just like Jacksonville's 5:00 Rush Hour. ***Lee- Thank-you to you also. Finding a job here quickly would make me feel much more comfortable (Since I drive a Car that has parts that are the price of gold ) Any leads would help me greatly. I've made the effort to apply at a couple of cell phone reatil stores. That job is my biggest hope because I have 3 years of commission sales experience, and their starting pay is pretty good plus the commission I'll be earning. Basically, I could write my own check. But from my past job searches at cell phones stores, employers seem not to have a big demand for salesmen. I will have to wait and see. Thanks again! -SVXJoe |

I didn't know you could actually make money anymore in the cellular bidness. Nonetheless, good luck, Joe. Ron.

Joe-
See if you have a Bose Retail store in your area. I used to work for Bose, and the company is absolutely AMAZING to their employees. The pay is unbelievable, and they give huge bonuses, and tons of benefits. Look into it. -Mike |

!!! Geez :-) !!!
I never knew that I'd get help like this in finding a job. I really do thank all of you. A big thanks goes out to Mike. He went beyond what I anticipated and actually researched locations and Contact Names and Numbers here in Orlando, when he lives up in PA. Thanks man! Also, it was Very Nice talking to you! Oh yeah Mike that was the first time I ever told anyone my pet name for my SVX...Cisceal...I know how to say it but I don't know if I'm spelling it right. ("C-I-S" is pronounced like the sound "Sys" and "C-E-A-L" is pronounced like the marine animal)
N-e-wayz.....Thank-you all again. SVXJoe |
