Re: I have mentioned this before... lokking for...

Yeah, but I'm not looking for a new kit, I'm looking for a used kit that will run me no more then 1,500 plus work. Willing to pay up to 2500. And plenty of people on here told me i can get the parts used for under 2k, So i really don't know what you are talking about. Plus i calculated whats for sale here and it runs about that price.

Re: I have mentioned this before... lokking for...

This is what I was talking about with the price:

SVXfiles:
http://www.svxfiles.com/transmission.html
4EAT-to-5MT or 6MT Swap (SVX AWD)
∞ Approximately 40-50 hours to complete
Last time I checked 50 hours labor @ $40 = $2000 in LABOR ALONE.

or

Smallcar Swap: $4,500.

Re: I have mentioned this before... lokking for...

I gave them a call.... tempting but costly, i may postpone the manual switch for now.

Unless I get a good offer on used parts in the Tri-State area with installation (need the whole kit).

Still looking........

Actually we have been charging $1000.00 as a flat fee, for the labor of a five or six speed conversion on a AWD SVX.
With our recent labor price increase to $45.00 an hour the flat fee is now $1125.00.
I do make the cross members, pedal assemblies, shifter assemblies, etc.
