Well I am so happy right now!!! I finished it up by 3 but no time to go get the alignment done, so I called and schedualed for tomorrow at 930. The car is sitting so low right now. I had to take a break and jump back into the air conditioning. I will go out a raise it up in a few minutes. Right now fronts are sitting at 13.5in and the rears are 12.5 in. I am gonna raise the rear to 13" and raise the front to 14". I may keep it at 13.5 in the front if I don't like it higher. It looks great and I cannot move the car by pushing on it at all. Well I guess I will catch ya later all.

Tom.... time for some spirited driving

Well I got her all evened out and is on the ground. I also took it for a spin and it feels great!! I have a few odd noises from the rears but I think I know what to do. Here is some pics of my baby with her new rims lowered to 14" in the front and 13" in the rear

Well, time to clean up the shop. Hope you like the pics

BTW it rides on RAILS!!!!

thnx tom. I am so tired right now it is redicluous. This project has drained me so I am gonna go out and watch the Dukes of Hazard. Don't forget about a little fun on the way there I love the ride even if it is a bit stiff, but hey, thats what I am looking for anyway right??

I have a question for you boys who have the Koni/GC in the car. Do your rears take up as much rubber as mine?? Seems like the mounts are sitting much higher than the stock setup did??

Aww shucks Looks good man, nice job. The problem with the rear mounts is why a few of us are looking for a solution for them. The weight of the car is no longer supported by the outer metal spring cup on the mount, it is supported by the center rubber peice that was only meant to hold the strut. We need a solution to this little problem?

Jesse,
Can you post a picture of the problem area with some dimensions? I might be able to work with my machinist to come up with a fix....

I still have my rear deck off, I will take pics before reinstallation. The rear mounts pretty much just seem like they are jacking up into the car more. I am also getting a small squeak out of them, but once I put the insulators back on, the squeak is barely noticable. I am sure when the deck goes back in, you won't be able to hear it.

I got the alignment done today to factory specs. The car still rides great!! It is hard to get me out of it now
