Relocating the Battery

I just bought a red top, and I have the ground wires... Any idea where it can be put? I dont have a rear seat, Has anyone else moved their battery? Is it ok to do?

While running the ground to the frame in the trunk does work (thanks Tom!), I'd recommend running a ground wire back up to the engine block at the same time you run the + line. A little more work, but I've found it's worth it.

This will involve extra work, cost and bulk. If the battery is properly grounded to the steel shell and the engine likewise, it is highly unlikely that a wire, even of excessive dimensions, will provide a path of lower resistance. Is it worth it?
