engine coolant bolts?
I was cleaning around the engine oil pan and noticed two large bolts directly in front of the oil pan right beneath the crankshaft pulley under and behind of the timing belt cover (not inside). I was just curious as to what they were. 1st thought was a way to get coolant out of the block but they seem too high for that.

The 2 bolts right n the center of the pic. The red tranny fluid all over the place is from where my power steering reservoir was leaking. I hope that the new O-ring will fix that. At least I think thats where it's coming from.

Two Bolts
I believe the bolts you are reffering to are part of the water pump.

maybe for tapping in for an oil temp sensor or oil pressure sensor?
