Exhaust band lb-torque rating?

Hello again,

It's been a while.

Does anyone know how many lbs of torque the rear exhaust clamp is supposed to be cranked down to? I bought a Stebro exhaust years ago and never really got that sealed 100%. I'd like to take a wrench to it, but am afraid I'll snap the clamp (I know it's a cheap replacement, but still)...

Alternatively, is there any other way to get the straight pipe <-> muffler to seal better?

Thanks all,
Sz

I have the same problem with my Stebro. Looking forward to some one posting the answer as well.

Do you have the correct clamp.. sort of a clamshell curved one. The is no torque setting, just tight without breaking it or crushing the pipe.
