95 soon to part out
Ha ha these cars must have magical powers! Yesterday my mind was set to definetly sell or part this car, no question about it. Today was a new day though and despite the fact that my allergies were acting up like a biatch and i just found out that my company i subcontract for had filed bankrupcy, i was feeling very optamistic about the svx. Its gonna stay with me. Gonna drive it like a granny until Ive got a beater pickup, then its gonna go sit in my mothers garage until i can get some stuff straight. Going to drop the insurance and pull the tag. Ill take my time to properly fix and replace all the wrecked panels(roof hood rear quarters and front fenders) as money permits, Ill most likely do a very smooth black primer job on it, seal it up, and let it be a track car for the auto x races that happen here in nc. mods you can delete this thread

That is a shame that you have to part this car out. If you could get a cheaper paint job than that, it would not be so bad.

Color?
I don't think I saw the color mentioned but then your post is hard to read since you don't seem to know where the shift key is on the keyboard.
Actually, $1500 does not sound terribly high considering it is a running car. Maybe someone good a body work and paint will take you up on it. I hate to see another one parted. Lee

color is brilliant red, considering the state of damage its in the color isn't really that much of a consideration. 1500 is low but if someone is willing to get me that for it, its enough for me to put a down pay on a pickup. Ive got more important things to be doing than trying to sell it at a high price, like finding that ,oh so hard to find, shift key you talk of.
