thinking about summer tires
ya i know it's wierd considering that it is winter but time to start preping for the summer installs, i was wondering what is the widest tire i can put on my svx?

We have 22" x 10" Hoosier road racing slicks on custom 10" wheels on the racer, SVXride is running 275's on his. Both of these cars required some suspension tweaking and cutting of sheet metal though...
Many have mounted 245's, and I think a few have fitted some 255's. Try a search for either of those numbers to learn some more.

If you're sticking with stock rims then keep it to a maximum of 245/45-16's. Any more and it will probably rub.
If you're looking at aftermarket rims make sure the offset is high enough or they will rub even with smaller tires.
