I was not amused.
Muffin was looking over my shoulder at the time, and all I can say is....she is NOT a fan. Or a supporter of fans. Or a fan of fans that support flying catnip mice. Anyway, I think I know of ONE cat that is now in favor of being declawed.  Don

Personally I think they were hilarious! I'm not found of that kind of stuff being done on purpose to any animal, but as long as it's an accident I don't have any problem with it happening to a cat. I guess by now you know where my loyalties lie...

I've had cats my whole life, and I have two right now. Still, I found that video kinda funny. The only reason I found it funny at all was that it seemed like the people in the room didn't really intend for it to happen.
'Turn off the fan!' My cats have suffered worse crashes, so I'm reasonably certain that the one in the video is fine. And it's not like this is something that they do to the cat all the time - that was probably all the lesson it needed to never try it again.

No **** - we were in hooters this past sunday and we saw a ceiling fan on low with some kind of stuffed animal hanging from it and I said it would be cool to hang a cat toy from ours to keep them occupied. We both thought it was a good idea....
Both of ours have already had their claws ripped from their front mandibles so this probably wouldn't happen to them.... great link.
