sorry about that guys! My brother posted the video. I'm not much of a computer jock. He found the video in www.freshalloy.com then click forums then off topic and then you should be able to see the video. I hope this helps.

the wife's WRX didn't get out of the driveway this morning, after a nice freezing rain - NOTHING goes on ice. the SVX made it up no problem (when i left for work the driveway wasn't frozen yet ) cool video, though!

Wonder how the SVX would do in all that snow. Burn out the tranny?

i've actually had fairly good results with my svx in deep snow like that. it's pretty fun to set into drifts, though you need to put a lot more forethought into them than you would with a lighter weight car. the thing carries more momentum than a herd of elephants..

I'll try and attempt it this winter when it snows hard. It looks like a boat load of fun.

Awesome video.

Anyone with a Mac CAN view that video. Go to MacTopia.com , and download Windows Media Player for the Mac. Works great.

Cool.

What a great video. I wish we had proper snow like that over here in the UK, but all we get is rain rain rain.

There's some more WRX videos on this site...

What's jacobs.com. Glad you got a job. You've probably had it for a while now, but I haven't been here in a while.

Farther down I-95, in Maryland, my Pearlie handled that heavy downpour beautifully on the Washington-Baltimore run Wednesday morning. What a car!

Too slow here...

Well my laptop was trying to download the movie.....problem is I can't wait until my next birthday to see the thing.

Someday I need to upgrade my internet connection to something more advanced than two dixie cups and a string....

Hey Aredub!

Save that file!

There's no way I'm gonna wait for the download, but I'd sure like to see what you're all talking about.

Are you going to be in E'ville Saturday? If so, come over to Vertical Excape (Yes everyone, I know it's spelled wrong). I'm hoping to attend (and maybe compete - depends on how many other old guys show up) the bouldering comp that day.

Man, it's like everyone in the world is reading my personal mail. Yeah, I shoulda sent a PM, but this was easier.

Hi Richard,

Glad to see you back & hope everything is OK with you.
I started working for Jacobs on April 15, 2002.
Jacobs is the 2nd or 3rd largest Engineering & Construction company in the USA. They right are behind Bechtel, & Fluor-Daniels. Their stock is a pretty solid but staid performer (+3- 5%/yr) even through the last 2 years.

Yeah, everything OK. Just don't get a chance to get to this site often and generally sign in on the Yahoo! site because, well, it's easier. There's soooo much to read here.

So then you signed on with Jacobs right after we met at the Lancaster County meet April 6. Terrific.

Just returned from seeing "Die Another Day." I went to see the Aston Martin and Jag convertible (a convertible with the top down in Iceland?) duel it out on the ice. Some fantastic shots. I've read where it took more than two weeks to set up some of those shots, yet they all went by in a flash during the movie. But all of the Bond movies are so unreal, like cartoons. But the cars are stupendous.
