We still haven't named him yet.... but he's cool. I still miss Charly but having a puppy helps a lot.

i'm getting my wife a kitten for X-mas..........and i hate cats! i'd better get major points for this i'll be getting myself a puppy in the spring. "go get the kitty!"

I was going to get my wife a kitten for a gift...some time in the near future. I didn't really know when exactly I'd do it, but since she was nearly begging to get another one so our cat wouldn't be so starved for attention, I figured it was a good idea.

Then she found a stray, and foiled that gift idea. Ah, well.

I can understand why people hate cats just like I can understand why people hate dogs. Usually their first memory of either is negative. But I grew up with both and I love both.

Rob, I hope all goes well with your new puppy.

Get her a Tonkinese. They're amazingly cool cats.

i wanted to get an "Ocicat". they look like little leopards with the spots, but they're like $500!!! WAY too much for a stinkin' cat! that would buy a lot of car stuff.

You can always get her a second one to keep the first one amused. We recently got a friend for Bandit, and Eboneezer is just great. They are like brothers except they don' fight.

That's what we paid (each) for 2 Tonkinese. That's the first time I've ever paid for a cat, but they're very cool. They're like short dogs... They follow you around to see what you're doing. They're not shy or aloof at all. Very affectionate and interactive.

Speaking of cats, we have 2 Ragdolls and a Norwegian Forest Cat.

The "Weege" is white with black markings, similar to a '92 Pearly.
One Ragdoll is a chocolate, mitted, seal point and the other is a blue point.

I wonder if you can get cats or dogs in Bordeaux Pearl color?

We just recently lost two of our cats. Saki died on 10/1 and Kahlua just this Monday 12/2. We got Kahlua before we even got married. We've never NOT had him. There are great big holes in our hearts right now. We still have Tequila and Rico the amazing Mexican Talking Dog. And on Sunday we brought home our new flame point Siamese, Scotch. But it's still going to take a lot of time to heal.
