5mt flywheel and booster

Does the flywheel need to be from the same year/model as the transmission, or will any 5mt flywheel work with any 5mt tranny, then do I get a clutch for the y/m of the transmission, or the y/m of the flywheel?

Specifically, I have a tranny from a 06 impreza 2.5i, would a flywheel from a 99-02 forester work for me?

Also, will any manual tranny booster fit without modification, or only the wrx?
My pedals are supposedly 06 sti, if that makes a difference.

OK. So I broke down and bought the sti brake booster and m/c, mostly because based on what I've read here the wrx/sti booster and m/c may be an upgrade from the svx unit, and are at least better than the impreza/legacy units(bigger m/c bore). And even if the sti setup is not any better than the svx, at least the new one is only a year old.

However, I still don't know if this flywheel will work for me, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
