4.11 swap nothing works

ok i put a legacy 4eat into my 92 lsl, i got it on the ground today, and filled it with fluid, significant factors are it will indicate all gears but first on the dash, all the lights go out when the gear selector is put in first. i pulled one of the tanny cooler lines off with the engine running and nothing came out i have had the car running for about 20min in park at idle randomly shifting throug the gears, and it gives no responce, also the fwd fuse is in the box, but the dash light is not on, any ideas?
help!!
thanks jeff

All of the gear indicators on the dash have separate bulbs. It's possible for the "1" to be burnt out.

Other than that... Bad oil pump???

Yeah that could be a problem. Take a few days off though, don't wanna be messing around with it if you're this p.o.ed

Put the TC in there, and turn it around and around and push on it, eventually it will go in all the way. The ears to bolt to the flexplate must be slightly into the transmission case, if they are sticking forward of the case, bad things will happen...
OK< so lets say i did that< because i thing the one from the old trannie might be in there< how high are my odds that i damaged somthing?

If the old one were still in you would probably know it as the torque converter wouldn't just slide on it as it has a metal retaining clip that must be pinched together to put the shaft onto the torque converter. You probably didn't hurt anything, Just when you feel ready to deal with it drop it out and put the shaft on the torque converter and then reinstall. Good luck man and don't feel bad, Everybody makes mistakes.

Did the tranny get tight before you got the bell housing bolts snugged up?

If so, and you cranked it on down, you busted the pump....I told you to be SURE the TC was fully seated before installing it...this is a very common happening.....hope that's not the case,

Hopefully it's that sleeve....not the pump

Which shaft are you talking about? The 12" long tailpipe sized tube or the 24" long solid shaft with splines?

Here's the pump (from LAN's thread)

http://www.ecutune.com/posts/4eat/assembly/DSC_4051.jpg

This is what you will find broken. You can see the two tabs inside the hole, that's what didn't get lined up
