Has Anyone Tried These Speaker Brackets??

I was looking through Crutchfield's website today and came across the following:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hwCkiRg...C656&s=0&cc=01

These brackets claim to match up to the 6.5" holes in the front doors of the SVX. Has anyone seen or tried these before? From the picture, it looks like it might be the right fit to me.

I don't think those will work. The hole in the door is almost 7" if I remember correctly. I did find a set of brackets that worked for me. I think they were for some Toyota.

I made my own out of MDF. Wasnt too hard. Traced the stock thingy on to it, cut it out, cut a hole in it. Worked perfectly.

The important point is that the speaker is fitted closely against the outer door panel, so as to obtain a near airtight seal. Otherwise the speaker has no effective baffle and low frequency response will suffer.
