**URGENT** window part needed
i'm looking for the plastic piece that holds the window cable to the metal frame on the bottom of the window. i need it for the front window on the drivers side but i'm assuming that the piece from the passenger's side would also work. anyone parting out a car or anyone with any leads please pm me as soon as possible. thanks.

You are best to get that part new. Chances are a used one will break when installing.
The part is called a "Sleeve Lock" and if you search for it you will get the part number.

Subaru part number 62101PA081 is a sleeve lock regulator. It is a redesign of the clip and is found starting with the 94 SVXs. It will clip onto the place where the 92-93 window clip used to be.
Evidently there was a problem with this clip and so Subaru decided to offer this as a replaceable part starting in '94. Cost of the part is $7.58 from subaruparts.com and about $10.00 from your dealer. .

thanks for all the info. i've been pulling my hair out all day calling salvage yards looking for an svx from which i could get this part and within 2 hours after posting on here i have my problem solved. you guys are the best!!!
