up hills
The car does not want to get up a hill some time. As I am at 35mph going to 40 on a up hill. The car just stops at 35mph. It feels like I hit a wall or something like that. It take the car about 5 sec at 35 mph just to get to 40 on a hill .Anyone have this same thing with there car?

Downshift? All I know is my engine smokes if I take too long going up the side of a mountain or something. Plenty of power.
Are you losing power or what is going on exactly? My friend busted his transmission in his Fiero going uphill a little too feircely. Maybe your clutches are worn.

Do the RPMs go up or down as you press the throttle? You might want to select a lower gear next time, see if that helps you up.
