Ooh! Ooh!
After a few days of sub-20 degree temperatures, things look like they might take a surprising turn. Today's high will be around 47F. Then we're supposed to have a couple warm days with some RAIN!
Some of you may see where I'm going with this. Rain washes the salt off the roads. Clean roads and higher temperatures mean I can take the SVX out! Of course, since the car is clean, I won't want to drive it unless my road (mud with a few islands of gravel) is dry. It'd be a shame to get it dirty and then watch the temperatures plummet so I couldn't wash it again.

Get the car out while you can. The roads here are pretty good. My svx is my main car, so it gets a wash once a week. Shouldn't get too bad this weekend, keep in mind, we've got that zinc coating |

I even have three VERY VERY VERY small paint bubbles in the right quarter panel. And then there's everything ELSE on the car - suspension, brakes, bolts, nuts, etc. Those aren't rust-proofed. We'll see. I won't take the car out unless the roads are clean of salt, and I doubt that's going to happen this weekend.
