Strange problem with my PT cruiser

I know it's not an SVX tech question, which is why I posted it here.

I have an intermitant problem with my PT which has happened 4 times over the last 4 months.

When driving along all of a sudden the car feels like it has a flat tire. Just like running on a rim, totally deflated. But it doesn't. I figured, maybe I was over reacting to the shake/wobble and knew the engine was missing a bit, so I changed the plugs and wires. This didn't fix the problem. Next I had the rear end checked out and replaced a bushing a control arm. This didn't fix it.

I thought maybe I had a broken belt in one of the tires, but I just put on my winter set and had the same problem.

Does any one know what would cause a similar feel to a flat?
