whats the dumbest ticket you've ever gotten?

I was going to pick up mcdonalds tonite.. and theres this stopsign in my hood on my street.. not especially busy.. and theres never a cop in sight so without thinking i blow it.. and he was halfway down the street and he pulled me over.. considering it was my first ever offense.. i thought o maybe hes gonna give me a warning.. he asks for my liscense.. whos car i was driving.. and all that bs.. i think he was just laughing at my beat ass mustang.. so i get into his car and i knew it wasnt going well.. and i kissed his ass.. but he continued to fill out the ticket... i got a ticket for rolling through a stopsign.. on my first offense.. my friend has gotten 5 warnings for racing in his ECLIPSE.. and i drive this beat ass old 86 mustang and get a ticket my first time.. o well.. just wondering what your stupedist tickets were?

could be worse. it could have been a red light. yes, been there done that. it's 3am and nobody on the road. i look left, right, front, and rear....no cops..go go go. unfortunately there was a donut-stuffer hiding out to the bank drive thru that i missed. good times.

i've got you all beat. I got a warning ticket when I first started driving for not stopping LONG ENOUGH at a stop sign. The cop said i stopped, but didn't stop long enough. The stop sign is at the top of my street, and I know it by heart, so I don't know what "long enough" is?

That's an easy one... you must stop long enough so that your wheels COMPLETELY STOP rolling. When I first learned to drive, my instructor gave me a little ditty to recite. Every time I came to a stop sign, after stopping I had to say out loud "stop...1...2...3...stopped." Only then was I allowed to press the gas pedal, after having looked both ways, of course

I've gotten two minor speeding tickets in my life, but NEVER any ticket or warning for rolling through a stop sign. Guess the ditty works, 'cause I still find myself muttering it under my breath

I have had many speeding tickets in my life, but by far the most stupid would be illegal headlights. Who cares what color they are as long as you can see with them?

Actually getting a ticket for watching street racing might top that one.

I few weeks ago I was in my Jeep and I blew past a local cop at around 50 on 45 zone. I saw him pull out and soon afterwards on came the lights.

He came up, told me I had a nice setup in my jeep (I'll take photos of the jeep later) and told me that I could at least turn on the lights. It was around 8:30. And let me off.

I've been pulled over about 4-5 times now and everytime had been a warning. Once, the cop even said "Sorry. I don't do this often. Take care and have a nice day." Yeah. I don't know what all of that was about. Someone must have marked something on my license or the plates.

the thing is, the cop himself acknowledged to me that I stopped, he just said that i did not remain stopped for long enough. I came to a complete stop, there are little kids that play on my street, so I am VERY strict about that stop sign.

Stupidest ticket (only ticket) was a fix-it for having lit washer nozzles. They were wire to my headlights at the time but I'm going to re wire them to my tun signals soon enough.

The laws (or interpretation of) regarding aftermarket lighting changed shortly after I cut my wires.

When I reflect back over the last three decades, I have only had ONE ticket. I was driving my brothers 70 ford p/u and it was running bad. I leaned up to pull out the hand choke to see if it would smooth out. I was in 2nd gear, and not really watching the speedo. As I noticed Md's Finest going the other way, I glanced at the NUMBERS and was running 54 mph! One week AFTER the speed limit was dropped from 50 to 40!! Even though the change was recent and I had no priors, I was issued a 'payin' paper!
I was upset till a friend asked me how many times I had gotten away with it ( speeding) and I said "All of them!" and there were MANY! Before helicopters, and that sort of thing, a fella could escape. (Not Recomended)
My mentor had a glove box full of those payin' papers, and a Hemi Roadrunner.He also had a 63 Dodge that was patterned after the Ram Chargers, chrysler drag team cars. 1000 hp 426 max-wedge ( 2600 lbs), and a 49 Dodge p/u that ate Chevys for breakfast.

Ok so there's his kid that had and still has multicolored sprayers. And I think he made them flash. They look like Xmas lights.
