|
bad tranny behavior
so i was driving home last night and after sitting at several red lights a few times over my tranny felt like it wasn't downshifting anymore
 i've only been driving it for a couple days now so i'm still trying to work out the bugs. i have an aftermarket cooler for it so i wouldn't think it would be an overheating problem... any ideas?

still doing it
i checked the resistor and got 12.6 ohms. other than that i don't know what to check for or what else is wrong with it.any takers on this one?

Is the tranny kicking any codes?

Does the power light flash at all when you start the car up?

i tried the resistor idea and still the same... yes the power light flashes. it gives me a "duty solenoid a" code. i dropped the pan over the weekend and changed the solenoid pack with a set that i knew worked from another tranny and found lots of metal chunks and shavings. i'm gunna have to say it's toast
going to the shop for a rebuild now

I'm sorry to hear that. If you are goint to rebiuld, check out Level Ten bullit proof trannys.
