Cool How long do you plan on owning your SVX?

Haven't seen a poll like this, so I thought it would be interesting. I haven't kept a car longer than 2 years, but the more and more I modify my SVX, the less likely I am to ever consider selling it.

Once my car is paid off in 2 yrs, I'm thinking I'd rather put the 5K deposit I would have put on the Evo into mods on this car.

I chose "Nice car, will keep until lien is paid then trade-up!"... But it really didn't specify that my intentions are to eventually get an Ebony '97..

I'll never sell. I'll keep it until something happens to it then get another one and keep the old one as parts.

Repeat as necessary.

"Greatest car ever made - I'll never sell!"

Honestly, I agree with the latter part of the choice, but not necessarily the first part. While I would like to keep my SVX forever, and I hope that is possible, I can't say how likely that is to happen.

I wouldn't go so far to say it's the 'greatest car ever,' but I do like it an awful lot.

I just know lots of 'car guys' who regret selling (or otherwise losing) a pride and joy they once had, and I don't want to be that guy. With luck I won't be.

i friend asked me while we were repoing a t-rex (3 wheeler 2 in front 1 in back) for prestige motar cars if money wasn't an issue what car or car(s) would i buy. i told him about 30 svxes. ill drive that car untill the man makes internal combustion engines illegal. at that time i would imagine that i would go on a murderous rampage.

I will keep mine too. But even if I have to sell my car, that will be the day to get another maybe better&newer SVX.

Since I put so much memory in my current SVX, I can't sell it anyway!

I'll keep my ebony until theres nothing more i can do for it, and then ill go and buy another SVX and repeat the process, of course eventually i think an '05 Legacy 2.5 GT Limited is somewhere down the line for me but the SVX will always be in my garage.

Love the car, but....

I like to go fast even better. For that I want to get a bike. As soon as the lien is up, I will sell and buy a truck and a bike to go in the back.
