Google Mail
Does anyone in here have G-Mail. Google has started a new mail service with 1GB size not the low 4MB size. There is one problem, that is that the only way to get a g-mail is by invite only. so this is an all call. If you have g-mail please invite me.

i heard there was something bad about G-mail - i can't remember what it was, or even if it was true. something like they look at your mail and send you spam based on your interests/mail topics, or something like that.
anyone heard anything about this?

I have gmail. It's got one gig of storage. They do scan your mail and base the advertizing banners around what is scanned in your mail. They may also spam you, but I'm not sure. I just got and have only accessed it a couple of times, so I haven't received any spam yet. A friend of a friend works at Google. Working in Silicon Valley does have it privilages. Google is about 20 minutes from my place.
I already have a list of people I need to refer, but I'll add names if you want. It sounds like the referrals don't come up too often, so it could be a while. Matt

Just got gmail. It is awesome! I love the grouping of messages thing. Especially for yahoo groups and such.

If you invite a friend to join who has a Yahoo email address, warn them that Yahoo will place the gmail signup email into their Bulk folder. If they are not expecting it, they will probably delete the invite.
I wonder why Yahoo whould think an email signup offer from Google is spam.  Matt

Yahoo Mail...
just upgraded to 100MB accounts (free service). Not as large as G-mail but I wanted to throw it out there...
