who found the bag of weed under their console? i know there was someone......
One day at school they had a drug dog the scratched the hell out of my rear end. I let the cops search the entire car but they found nothing. The previous owner was a subaru mechanic, but was he also a drug dealer? The world may never know. (I have searched all hidden areas since and still have found no drugs, f***ing dog )

Also I found my lost car key under the intake manifold a month after loosing it. I guess the car didn't want to let go.

Ouch! That sounds like quite the adventure you had at school! Do drug dogs routinely scratch your rear end, or was this a "special" occasion? Must have been tough to sit down after that one! Maybe next time they could cut the dogs claws first or at least put some socks on his paws.

Yep, my girlfriends 92 has one purple panel. I checked the warranty history at work and didn't find anything about replacing that vent. Did Subaru have a bad "batch" of vents??

Can't help you from experience, I've got a '95 L. But......Could it possibly be sun damage? Anyone have a pic of the difference.

I found nothing in my car! I bought it at a Subie Dealership in 2001. The owner of the dealership, a 60 year old, was driving it. He loves SVXs and always drives them when they get them in. It was clean as a whistle!

The titanium dioxide coating in the windshield protects the interior from sun damage, so I don't think it's that.....although I had the same thought. Why would just one panel get sun damaged?

My 95 was bought at the dealer. It was perfectly clean when I bought it. The 92 was bought private party, and the women who owned it last left us lots of gifts........money, casette tapes (nothing good), eye drops, receipts, a tampon which was thankfully still in its package, some candy bar wrappers, gum.....it was a mess!

Nothing in the car

but the joy of the open road..

Now just a fond memory, as my car sits at the dealership waiting for ( "gee, we never had to order that part before!, By the way, you may need a new TCU....") the speed sender gear cog.

I'm STILL finding out about repairs the previous owner has done to my car. Stuff like wrong clips, different bolts, duct tape, patching up instead of fixing...

I can't understand how you could put duct tape in the same sentence as wrong clips, different bolts, etc. That's obscene, I might have to report you to a moderator....

I found a bunch of Greek Orthodox Catholic icons in my glove box...mailed them back to the PO.
