Fuel Injectors

I came across a write-up for Power Enterprises Co., LTD of Japan that talked about a new line of high capacity fuel injectors they're offering for Nissan, Honda/Acura and Subaru vehicles. Turns out they're expanding into the North American market (read this as, "they now have an office in Irvine, CA). My question is, they're offering 510cc, 650cc, and 800cc injectors for the Impreza GDA/GDB (EJ20 engine) and 550cc, 660cc, and 850cc injectors for the Impreza GC8. Will any of these injectors work with the E33??
Thanks in advance for everyone's help.
-Bill

No

How's that for concise, Bill?

The EG33 uses a sidefeed design, while the Imprezas use a top feed design. A new fuel rail would be the easiest way to utilize the top-feed units.

A bunch of people talk about the Nissan/Infiniti side feed designs, but as far as I know based on this site, only cdigerlando has actually tried to fit them. Search some of his posts on Silvia fule injectors or Nissan fuel injectors.

Todd

PS-Getting together with the NASIOC guys can really help determine what works and what won't with our cars.

Todd,
Concise works
Given their "desire" to get into the North American market, I might just drop them a line and see if they're interested in producing FIs that work with the E33 ("yeah, and pigs will fly" comes to mind immediately )

I suggest trying RC Engineering too. They might have something that works.

older 2.2 legacys use the same fuel injectors as the svx motor.
