Outback
Thinking of replacing our 2007 OB XT Ltd. with a 2015 3.6R OB Ltd. and will probably get Suby's 'Eyesight' safety system on it.
The pluses are that the2015 OB is quicker, bigger, more luxurious and gets better mileage on regular gas. The minuses are that it costs more isn't as nimble or as good looking to my eye. I have also been considering the 2015 Forester XT Touring. Guess I have some test driving to do in the new year. We love our 2007 OB. Any suggestions?

Re: Outback
We just traded our 2012 Outback for a BMW 535i GT xDrive with 30,000 miles. 3.0 liter inline 6 turbo, 300 HP 300 ft/lbs of torque, 8 speed ZF auto.
It cost the same as a new Outback even though it's a $75,000 car new. It gets about the same or a bit better mileage than a 3.6 Subie. The difference is like apples and pitahaya. I think my Outback days are over forever. We've owned 3. P.S. The Gen. 3 Outbacks like yours are by far the nicest style of any year so far. Last edited by Blacky; 12-19-2014 at 01:24 PM. |
