Pininfarina Sintesi Concept -

another pininfarina stamp on the Giugiaro design.

http://www.blalang.com/pictures/?p=476

The back-end i can do without though. Although from an aerodynamics standpoint its useful.

Always with the split windows. I'm going to make a full window conversion kit for the SVX to make it normal and get blasted by people here saying I ruined it's originality.

Re: Pininfarina Sintesi Concept -

The split window thing is a genius move, though. Cripes, cars from history and back have had those "wing windows"; this just capitalizes on it 100%.

It almost makes you wonder why it isn't more common!

Ditto. I'm tired of these "sports cars" looking like a wagon/minivan crossover. If this is the next generation, then I'll stick with this generation, thank you very much!

Re: Pininfarina Sintesi Concept -

One of the design parameters for the 2CV was that a farmer should be able to drive it across a plowed field and not break his box of eggs.

As I recall, they have a long compressable spring in each rocker panel and the front and rear suspension push on either end and interrelate.

Gotta love French design mentality.

Re: Pininfarina Sintesi Concept -

Gotta love those Lambo doors - fore and aft! Somebody tell me how you can do that and have any rigidity at all to the structure? It is bound to fold in the middle once you hit a pothole. And you think the dashboard in your SVX pops now and then!
