ahhhh imports
http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/se...chRequest=true
this link has beautiful german SVX. ahhh clear corners, glass headlights, etc. too bad the AWS was only JDM (and therefore rhd)...... the conditions of their cars over there makes ours (in general) look like if you can afford it, buying an import is the best way to go... best maintenance, preservation, and cool factor |

Re: ahhhh imports
you can import RHD vehicles... I was trying to buy scoobymal's svx a while back and would have if I had the money. You can either import it directly (tons of paperwork) or there are companies in canada that import them and then register the car in canada and then just do a "cross border" transaction...

Re: ahhhh imports
the difference in the condition is average mileage....not to mention the fact that germans take better care of their ****....
it just costs a lot more to drive over there so they take it very seriously, uuuh the autobahn anyone?.... their petrol is like ~$8 a gallon, the registration is ridiculous, and therefore they drive a lot less.... but when they do they require precission vehicles word Last edited by intellibomb; 02-16-2009 at 11:19 PM. |

Re: ahhhh imports
I think there are a few things in Europe (germany) to tell about which are :
annual governmental checkup of the cars and a higher average speed, shorter distances and more cornering This makes the cars with lower milage, but overall very well maintained. Average speed on a normal day on the autobahn is about 150 km/h, in some parts is has happened to me that at 170 km/h I was one of the slowest participants there (it was not at night, not in the weekend (no lorries) and on a normal dry day) Rinus Holland |
