weird sound

hello i am getting this like wine or rub sound from my tranny it works fine and shifts perfect and runs great just a wierd noise

Any more information? Does it change relative to the speed of the car or the speed of the engine?

i think i found some thing that sound like the same thing when the metal from the exhast is rubbing on the drive shaft

If your car has stock exhaust, and it's rubbing on the drive shaft, check your engine and transmission mounts, make sure they aren't loose or cracked, as that will cause the engine/trans to shift around, which will make noise, as well as eat drive shafts & axle shafts (The U Joints in the drive shaft are not serviceable, if they go out you have to replace the whole shaft at ~$400, unless you can find a drive line shop that can replace the joints.

But OP trying being a little more informative does it go with RPM's and not happen when in neutral moving? Try driving it and then lay of gas go into N (kinda like if you did it by accident) and see if it disappears.

it sound like a wine or like a rub noise. but the tranny and everything seems fine. i think i will change the tranny filter and oil
