try to get a good check from them, keep a good title and then try to fix it yourself with good used parts etc. I think time for a custom paint job (something green) is a good idea

Wow. You did get it lucky, i needed a whole new door.
Sorry to hear about that thow. At least he had insurance. The lady that hit me was in an Expidition and had no licence or insurance...... She wasnt even a leagle resident of the US. And to top it off....(this kills me) it was cosiderd "my fault" And to davew833 hope your stepmom fully recovers. As for the guy who hit her, he is have to live with that for a life time and hopefully knocks some sence into him. |

Ouch!!! That sucks.
It is unfortunate that people are often times in too much of a hurry to take the time to be considerate adn safe and chaeck out their surroundings. Good luck with the insurance company and I, like most of the people here, hope you do not total out the car. Good SVXs are getting hard enough to find and by the tiem I am ready to purchase antoher car (08-09?) there will be even less. Please keep us updated as the situation developes. |

Dropped the car off today at the Subie dealer... We shall see what they estimate the cost to repair at. I'll keep everyone posted.
