Tire Help Needed

I picked up my new Toyota truck yesterday and while cleaning it up today, I saw the tire placard in the driver's side door jamb. The factory tires were P235/75-R15. It now has 31X10.5-R15. How far off is my speedometer? And what pressures should I use? The factory specs were 26 front and 34 rear.

Thanks.

Thanks guys.

Matt, appriciate it. I usually hold it to 10 over, so then I would be at 15, so 5 over on the speedo. Thanks. Not that I'd get a ticket for 15 over......

Eric, I'm glad to see that saying is still around. I remember that from when Toyota's were just called pick-ups. Believe me, it looks better on 31's.

Alan, you still owe me that movie the quote comes from!!!

depending on the car you speedo might not be off at all 31's were an option and the speedo was adjusted accordingly. Find one of those police speed detectors that tell you how fast your going that will help

At any speed on your speedo you are actually going 7.3% faster than your indicated speed.
