Pop's new truck (warning large pic)

My dad finally pick-up a new truck. He likes power, like most of the males of the species, and he wanted a truck with a roomy interior, but small exterior. They've always been Chevy people. My father always liked the Silverado SS, but didnt want an extended cab because they are too long. He was on the verge of just getting one even though he couldnt get it in a standard cab. Then will looking around the dealership we stubled onto this.

The trailblazer SS weighs in at 3800lbs, is fully loaded and has 50 more HP than the Silverado SS. The Silverado has a 6.0 Vortec truck engine. The Trailblazer has the LS2 Corvette engine.

Nice truck but definitely very pricey - don't they run around 38-40K?

Hope your dad enjoys the truck.

Not to many mini vans that come standard with 20 in rims and a corvette engine.

It's not a truck, no bed. It's not a SUV, no 4 or AWD. It's not a mini-van, no fold down seats and rear sliders. In PA it's registered as a station wagon (as is my Pathfinder, but I have 4x4)

It's a top heavy Corvette with rear seats. At least you'll have fun smoking the tires on it. I don't know about that much weight and 385hp in the rain, much less the snow. Tell him to be careful.
